Step 1: find your country's rule
Not every Schengen country uses the same centre. Some embassies direct applicants to VFS Global or Gerry’s, while others, such as the Czech Republic since September 2023, accept applications at the embassy itself. Open your destination embassy page first and follow its instructions.
Step 2: complete the online form first if required
Some countries require the online application and fee payment to be completed before you can book the appointment. Denmark's page states this order. Read the embassy page so you do not lose a slot.
Step 3: book through the official channel only
- Use the official VFS Global or Gerry’s website, or the embassy phone number given on its page.
- The Dutch embassy warns that anyone asking payment for embassy appointments or offering other booking methods is trying to scam applicants.
- Never pay anyone for a "guaranteed" slot.
When slots are scarce
Pakistani press reports describe slots as limited, often appearing in small batches. This is user and press reporting, not official data. Check the booking page at different times of day, keep your documents ready before a slot appears, and apply as early as the rules allow (up to six months before travel).
Before the appointment
- Passport, application form, photographs and travel insurance.
- Bank statements, employment or business proof, flight and hotel reservations.
- Fee receipt and appointment confirmation.
How KPK Travel helps
We audit your file before the appointment, prepare the cover letter and itinerary and explain which centre your destination uses. We do not sell appointment slots and cannot jump the queue. Start with the Schengen visa guide or the Schengen country pages.
